Gary is also one of a select group of performers to have been cast in the role of Raoul on Broadway, perform the Phantom on Broadway, and cast in the title role in the national touring company. He is the only Phantom fortunate enough to play the role opposite his wife in the role of Christine (Elizabeth Southard). Previously, Gary was also cast by Mr. Prince in the National Tour of Harold Prince's Show Boat. His prior association with producer Cameron Mackintosh included the Broadway company of Les Misérables where he starred as Enjolras. Gary's other starring roles include Jesus, in Jesus Christ Superstar, Anthony in Sweeney Todd, and Frederick in Pirates of Penzance. He has appeared on many TV shows including ABC's 'Live with Regis and Kathy Lee" and "The View", and NBC's "The Today Show." As part of the popular "Bravo Broadway!" concert series, Gary has sung with numberous symphonies across the country and he is feature on two CDs entitled "Bravo Broadway!".
