Ted is one of the few actors to have had the distinction of playing the Phantom on Broadway and in the national touring company. He also has the honor singing "The Music of the Night" in front of the largest audience ever when he made a spectacular flying entrance from the dome of Madison Square Garden during the half-time show of the NBA All-Star Game. Ted was originally in the Broadway ensemble playing Monsieur Reyer before being tabbed to play the Phantom. He has been integrally involved in the George Gershwin Centennial Celebration having performed unpublished Gershwin works at the opening of the George and Ira Gershwin Room at the National Archives in Washington DC. The New York Times reviewed this as one of the 10 best musical events of the year. Ted has also sung at the opening of the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival (with Audra McDonald and Marin Mazzie), appeared in the Frank Loesser Celebration at Symphony Space in New York City, and was a soloist at Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall singing Unheard Bernstein. Additional Broadway and national tour credits include Cyrano: The Musical, Mordred in the Robert Goulet Camelot, Freddy in My Fair Lady, Herman in The Most Happy Fella, and Constantine in Hollywood/Ukraine.
